This photo is of a native sundew, cropped slightly.

Another of our scaley locals.
Taken on a lookout in the Pt. Arkwright bush.

All these photos have been taken with a Nikon P510 camera, the 42 x zoom is great for getting up close without getting too close.
The photos have had their resolution reduced (all were taken on the maximum 16mb size) and some have been cropped, if and when I put a digitally enhanced photo on the blog it will be labeled as such.
As the name of the blog suggests these photos were taken on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia, mainly around the Coolum Beach area.

This 1.5 metre plus character was photographed from one of the lookouts in the Pt. arkwright bushland.
Disappeared into grass barely knee height, there one second gone the next.

Sometimes we get a bit arty, what can I say.

What can I say right place, right time. Taken from Pt. Perry lookout.

Taken in the bushland along Pt. Arkwright.
